Hi Jason I heard that there is a way to compress GTVS packages. (this is already being applied and reviewed by INNOPIA) Please search the Google site or contact Google for this method. Please review if it can be applied to ATV12 Thank you YK.Jung |

Hi YK, Below is the result after applying 'LOCAL_COMPRESSED_MODULE' flag on GTV packages ====== WebViewGoogle=========== 10,574,698 product/app/WebViewGoogle/WebViewGoogle.apk 5,263,494 product/app/WebViewGoogle/WebViewGoogle.apk.gz ====== TrichromeLibrary=========== 77,046,933 product/app/TrichromeLibrary/TrichromeLibrary.apk 45,044,811 product/app/TrichromeLibrary/TrichromeLibrary.apk.gz And we don't see big difference on boot time. |

Hi YK, The LOCAL_COMPRESSED_MODULE Settings has side effect on GTS run gts -m GtsWebViewTestCases -t com.google.android.webview.gts.WebViewTest#testWebViewIsPreinstalled run gts -m GtsWebViewTestCases -t com.google.android.webview.gts.WebViewTest#testWebViewIsSignedWithCorrectKeys run gts -m GtsWebViewTestCases -t com.google.android.webview.gts.WebViewTest#testWebViewIsSystem After revert this keyword "LOCAL_COMPRESSED_MODULE", we can PASS it. Hi YK, Regarding AmazonPrime, We recommend downloading it from a PAI or SKB server if device upgrade to Android 12 without factory reset, it can be downloaded from SKB server if device do factory reset, the AmazonPrimeVideo could be downloaded by PAI. Base on the previous experience in other project, Amazon will ask OEM to put the AmazonPrimeVideo into PAI list after the device PASS AmazonPrimeVideo certification (even OEM has already pre-built it) (Because Amazon hope that user can get the latest app version) Thanks, Jason |

Hi Jason I just talked with SKB Manager and he said that the application rule for Amazon Prime App are not fixed yet. As I checked now, there is a free space of 8.5M at ATV12. we need to more free space than this. Hi YK, We've reverted the patch regarding LOCAL_COMPRESSED_MODULE. Current code in SKB bitbucket doesn't include LOCAL_COMPRESSED_MODULE. If we set it again, we will encounter 3 GTS webview failures run gts -m GtsWebViewTestCases -t com.google.android.webview.gts.WebViewTest#testWebViewIsPreinstalled run gts -m GtsWebViewTestCases -t com.google.android.webview.gts.WebViewTest#testWebViewIsSignedWithCorrectKeys run gts -m GtsWebViewTestCases -t com.google.android.webview.gts.WebViewTest#testWebViewIsSystem Please refer to the attachments. Hi Jason, Digicap found an issue that zemkids is not updated when upgrade FW by USB. I found the parse error shown when the boot up. Hi Jason INNOPIA has zemkids app compressed. after that, it is said that the new version will be updated normally. In other words, there seems to be a way to solve the issue even after compressing the zemkids app. Please review the zemkids apk compression again. Thank you YK.Jung |

Hi Jason JIRA(zemkids compression(stub) issue) is https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/BPM-15742 FW1 15.537.16 include zemkids version (r6270) FW2 15.537.18 include zemkids version (r6313) If you update from FW1 to FW2 The FW version was 15.537.18, but the zemkids version had an issue that was displayed as r6270. Hi YK, the root cause is when Zemkids is released (Digicap also updated the version code) and the version code of Zemkids -stub.apk also need to be updated. Please let me know how to address it. Because we don't know the release plan of ZemKid, we can not always help DigiCap to update version code of Zemkids -stub.apk. I think Digicap can write Zemkids -stub.apk by themselves and sync the version code with Zemkids when they release the new ZemKids. Thanks, Jason |
